Gazzetta – Milan make new attempt for Keita
AC Milan have not quit Balde Keita of Lazio and are ready to make a new attempt for the young Senegalese winger.
It seems that he was out of AC Milan plans but now, Lazio’s winger, Balde Keita is again linked with a potential move to the rossoneri. This news comes today from La Gazzetta dello Sport, which explains however that chasing the young winger is not only Milan but also rivals of Inter and especially Juventus, who enjoys the preference of the 22 year old.
The bianconeri have already submitted their first official proposal of 15 million euros to president Lotito, who immediately said no and is asking for a figure around 30 million euros. For the moment, only AC Milan appear willing to match his demands. Marco Fassone again reiterated to president Lotito that Milan are monitoring carefully the situation and plan to make a new attempt for the Senegal international. The Rossoneri are ready to try again, as well as Inter, especially if Perisic leaves for England.
For the two Milano clubs, however, it will not be easy to sign Keita. The Spain born winger would prefer a move to Juventus and for this reason the bianconeri are not worried about the recent advancements of the rossoneri and the nerazzurri. Marotta is in no hurry, aware he is favorite for the players signature, so he waits for the price to drop and Lotito to soften a bit. Milan and Inter remain at the window, just like Napoli, but convincing Keita to give up Juventus will not be easy at all.
A couple of weeks ago Claudio Lotito openly declared he would prefer to sell Keita to AC Milan instead of Juventus, frustrated by the way the bianconeri are handling the negotiations. While the player has refused to sign the renewal and his current contract expires next year. At Milan, Keita would find his old teammate Lucas Biglia who recently joined the rossoneri.
